CANACONA: The South District Athletics Association under the aegis of Goa Athletics Association willorganise the District Athletic meet on December 29 at Athletic Stadium Bambolim for U-14 and U-16 boys & girls.
The District Athletics Meet is to select the Goa teams to participate in the National Inter- District Junior Athletic Meet NIDJAM which will be held in Gujarat during January 2024.
For U-14 Athletes born on or after 01/01/2010 and for U-16 athletes born on or after 01/01/2008 are eligible to participate.
The Athlete can send their entries on Google form to Kapil Bhandari (8806353381)on or before December 23.
The events for U-14 boys and girls are Triathlon (A) 60m, Long Jump(5m approach) and High Jump (Scissor) Triathlon (B) 60m, Long Jump (5m approach), Back Throw (1kg shot put), Triathlon(C) 60m, Long Jump (5m approach), 600m and Kids Javelin “Wth five metre runaway.
The events for U-16 are : 60m, 80mH, 600m, High Jump(Scissor only), Long Jump (5m approach), Shot Put(Standing), Javelin Throw (10m approach), Pentathlon (60m, 80mH, Long Jump {5m approach}, Shotput [standing] 600m).
