PANAJI: The Village Panchayat Ground in Chinchinim echoed with the cheers and applause as the Mr and Ms VELIM 2024 Goa State-Level Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship concluded on January 27. Organized collaboratively by ABS Fitness Zone Gym and the Village Panchayat of Chinchinim - Deussua, the event showcased the dedication and strength of athletes competing in various categories.
Following a fierce competition, Ameet R. Talekar from Margao emerged as the Overall Champion in bodybuilding, securing the coveted trophy, a medal, a certificate, and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000. Subhash Amonkar from Navelim and Dinesh R. Govekar from Cortalim were declared the 1st and 2nd Runners Up, respectively. Olivia Coutinho from St Andre was declared champion under Ms VELIM 2024 category.
