Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai criticized the tourism department for spending Rs 4 crore on advertising for the National Games.
Sardesai alleged that the Director of Tourism benefits personally from these expenditures, claiming that he has a detailed list of such instances. He further alleged that there is a 60% cut in the tourism department, suggesting widespread financial mismanagement.

Amonkar noted that there have been recent incidents where parents received fake calls from scammers pretending to have kidnapped their children and demanding money.Amonkar urged authorities to take immediate action to address and prevent such cyber crimes, ensuring the safety and security of the residents.
