Vanishri Acharya, a student of G S Amonkar Vidyamandir, Mapusa has bagged the first prize in an essay competition organised by North Goa District Law Services Authority. The essay was on 'The basic duties of citizens'. The school management and faculty congratulated the student for her success in the competition. In the SSC exam, Jai Zantye stood first, Avanish Gaonkar second and Srusti Raul came third in the school, where 89 students had answered the exam. Adv Sanjay Usgaonkar, president of the school management committee has congratulated the students for their success.
