MARGAO: Varca Veterans downed Bardez veterans 3-1 to enter the final of the 4th all Goa veterans football tournament, organised by Batora United, at DYSA ground, Curtorim, on Tuesday.
Narayan Mistry opened the score line for Varca Veterans in the 10th minute while Gavin Araujo equalised for Bardez Veterans in 24th minutes.
In second session, Francisco Fernandes scored in the 36th minute for Varca Veterans. Bardez Veterans Sailesh Misquin failed to equalise in 48th minute. Narayan Mistry completed his brace in dying minutes of the game for Varca.
Francisco Fernandes was awarded man of the match by Sailesh Prabu member of Batora United.
