PANAJI: The winners of the ‘Magic Millets’ contest organised by WICCI Rural Tourism Council Goa in association with GSRLM and Rotary Club of Panaji Riviera were feted in Panaji recently. The first prize was won by Joyti Palekar (Tiswadi), second prize was awarded to Shobhavati Velip (Canacona) and third prize winner was Poornima Sawant (Salcete).
The competition was aimed at spreading awareness about millets among women self-help groups and encourage them to cook with millets.
