The National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme, Directorate of Health Services has organised a State Level Function of World Malaria Day at the conference hall of Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji on April 25 at 10.15 am. World Malaria Day is observed on April 25th every year to emphasise on strategies to control and reduce the malaria burden. This year the theme is “Harness innovation to reduce the malaria disease burden and save lives”. In order to commemorate the day, awareness activities are organised throughout the State.
