The Swachhta Action Plan Committee of Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao “ Goa under its initiative of Sanitation and Hygiene, organised an online session on “Health and Hygiene” through Google Meet platform. The Resource Person of the session was Dr Jenifer Mendes from the Department of Community Medicine, Goa Medical College. The resource person highlighted the need of hygiene in the pandemic, especially how to behave in public places, how to cover up coughs and what are the benefits of hygiene in the surrounding area of the villages. This session was attended by students, teachers and community members of adopted villages. Swachhta Action Plan Committee Convenor, Dr Suchita Golatkar welcomed the resource person and Dr Jayaprakash, Librarian and In-charge of Sanitation and Hygiene Committee coordinated the session.
