The GUJ Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election of the new GUJ executive committee 2022-2024 have been scheduled for June 11. The GUJ AGM and election of the new GUJ executive committee which was due in June 2021, was first postponed on account of the second Covid wave and Covid statewide restrictions. The GUJ executive committee further decided to hold the GUJ AGM and election in the first week of Dec 2021 following the GUJ Journalism Awards for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 on Oct 30, 2021. The AGM and election process was further delayed on account of the third covid wave and statewide restrictions. Considering the election model code of conduct in Jan and the Assembly election in Feb, the GUJ executive committee decided to summon the GUJ AGM and election only after completing the financial year term 2021-2022. The GUJ AGM and election of the new GUJ executive committee 2022-2024 will now be held on June 11. A clear 15-day notice will be issued before the AGM and election.
