Amid the chaos in the Assembly, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant tabled the ‘Goa Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2022’ and it was passed in the House without any discussion on the bill.
The ‘Goa Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Bill’ was also introduced in the Assembly session.
Demanding a division of votes on the linear project issue, the opposition went to the well of the House. Amid the chaos, the bills were introduced and one bill was passed.
Sawant accused the opposition of not following the rules, claiming that they had not asked for a division of votes when they were supposed to ask for a division of votes.
