Dengue cases rising in Mapusa?

MAPUSA

Councilor of Mapusa Municipal Council from ward 7 Tarak Arolkar said that he has started taking preventive measures like fogging on his own, as dengue cases have been rising in his ward.

“Dengue cases are rising. In my ward there are 11 dengue cases. I have been following up the matter with the health department. Initially, there were three cases which have now gone up to 11,” Arolkar said.

He said he has taken the initiative to clean up the places where the dengue cases were reported and even carried out fogging in those places.

“The health department carries out fogging only when cases are reported so I brought the fogging machine on my own and after interacting with the health department carried out fogging in the entire ward,” he said.
