1 arrested for disrupting court proceedings MARGAO: The Margao town police arrested a 28-year-old man, who is suspected to have allegedly disrupted court proceedings at JMFC, Margao on Wednesday.

According to Margao police, acting on the complaint of JMFC Margao, Vijayalaxmi Shivolkar, the suspect Alberto (28), a resident of Majorda, was arrested for allegedly creating a nuisance in an open court in the midst of court proceedings thereby obstructing the complainant while discharging her lawful duties.

Acting on the complaint, the Margao police arrested the suspect and booked him for offence under Section 353 of IPC.

Further investigations are in progress.
