1 injured in Sancoale accident

CORTALIM: One person was seriously injured after he was knocked down by a car at Sancoale on Sunday evening.

According to Verna Police, a Omni van (GA-08-U-1802) was on its way to Cortalim from Vasco when it dashed a pedestrian, Francis Xavier, a resident of Naquelim near the Chicalim post office, at Sancoale, causing serious injuries. Further investigation is in progress.
