2 brothers booked for dumping mud

MAPUSA:Mapusa Police has registered an offence against two brothers on charges of dumping mud in low-lying area in Guirim.

According to complainant Digambar Harmalkar, the accused had illegally dumped mud in a low-lying area at Guirim.

Acting on the complaint, Prashant Naik of Mapusa TCP conducted an investigation and lodged a complaint with Mapusa Police against the two brothers.

Based on the complaint, Mapusa Police booked an offence against the accused under Section 17A of the TCP Act.

No arrests have been made so far. ASI Krishna Gawas is investigating the case.
