3-year-old girl dies in freak mishap

A 3-year-old girl from Ladfe-Bicholim died on Sunday when a laterite stone fell on her head.

According to reports, the incident occurred when one Payal Rathod was playing and a laterite stone accidentally fell on her head.

Payal was rushed to the Bicholim CHC, but was declared dead.

Police conducted the inquiry and no foul play has been suspected. Bicholim PSI Kishor Ramani is further investigating the case.
