75% of Mapusa gets power supply

MAPUSA

After struggling for almost three days, power to around 75 per cent of Mapusa was restored late Wednesday evening.

Power department officials informed that the remaining 25 per cent would be completed by Thursday.

A few areas in Khorlim, Duler, Angod and the entire market area were yet to get supply.

“It was an enormous task to fix the battered power infrastructure but our staff has lived up to the task and worked continuously to restore supply. No one can blame the power department for failing to do their work,” a senior engineer informed.
