Dr Marianho Godinho, head of AAP Goa medical cell questioned the logic of giving Ivermectin tablets to Goans when nowhere in the world including other states of the country this tablet is used for prophylaxis treatment which is nothing but treatment to prevent the disease and when WHO has specifically not recommended its use and nowhere else in the world it is adopted.
Mhambre, pointed out that in the last 19 days more than 1000 Goans have died due to Covid and lambasted the so-called expert committee that the Health Minister keeps referring to with regards to treating Covid cases.
