BELAGAVI
The South Western Railway (SWR) arranged eight buses for 255 passengers of H Nizamuddin Goa Superfast Express Train No 12780 from Belagavi to Vasco on Thursday, as the train was short-terminated at Belagavi.
While the clearing of the mud and debris at the site of the landslide in the Braganza Ghat continued for the third day, the SWR cancelled or diverted some trains on the route. The following train services are cancelled, partially cancelled and diverted due to landslip between Castle Rock and Caranzol stations.
Train No 17309 Yesvantpur“Vasco and Train No 17310 Vasco“ Yesvantpur Daily Express will be cancelled on July 30, while Train No 12780 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Daily Superfast Express, starting from Hazrat Nizamuddin on July 28, will be short terminated at Belagavi.
Train No 12779 Vasco -Hazrat Nizamuddin Express, journey commencing on July 30 will be will originate from Belagavi, while Train No 11097 Pune“Ernakulam Poorna Weekly Express, starting from Pune on July 29, will be diverted to run via Lonavala, Karjat, Panvel, Roha, Madure and Madgaon stations.
