An 80-year-old woman from Sonshi in Honda-Sattari has been missing for the past three days.
According to police, the 80-year-old woman from Sonshi regularly visits religious places. Three days ago, she had informed family members that she was going to the Balumama Temple for darshan and subsequently left home.
However, she did not return home since then. When considerable time passed without her returning, her family members began searching for her.
The family searched various places in the surrounding area and made inquiries with relatives. They also contacted people known to the woman to gather information about her whereabouts. Efforts were also made to search places that she regularly visited for religious purposes. However, despite all these efforts, no concrete information regarding her whereabouts could be obtained. Her daughter later filed a missing complaint at the Valpoi Police Station.
