AAP taunts Parrikar over poor attendance at meeting

The AAP in Goa poked fun at Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar for attempting to garner political mileage over the ‘surgical strikes’ and pointed to the poor turn out at Parrikar’s meeting as a rejection of the BJP’s designs.

“The thin attendance and the virtual flop that the self congratulatory public meeting at Mapusa today is a befitting retort by Goa’s people to the BJP’s devious attempts to politicise defence and strategic matters,” AAP spokesperson Ashley do Rosario said in a statement . “BJP would do well to concentrate on addressing their abysmal failure on the governance front which has plagued Goa in these four-and-half years of their misrule,” he added.
