Porvorim school exhibits France
PANAJI: Students of class VIII, IX and X, opting for French as their third language, put up a programme cum exhibition showcasing different aspects of France on World Tourism Day, at Rosary High School, --------. A mini glass Louvre with some of the famous paintings, perfumes, French accessories like LV wallets and Eiffel Tower purses were just some of the many displays. The hard work of the students managed to get an Eiffel Tower standing for the occasion, says a press note.
Entertainment through French songs, nursery rhymes, dances and a 'chic' fashion show added to the whole experience of 'd'être là '. And on the menu was, a little Parisian 'café' with the typical red and white striped tarpaulin offered baguettes, croissants, ratatouille, poulet and gateau au chocolat.
The entire exercise was acclaimed by the guests of honour Mme Exalta and M Anthony, professors from the Alliance Français.
