The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday dissolved all existing organisation structures of the party in the State.
In a press release on Monday evening, Delhi MLA and AAP’s Goa election in-charge Atishi stated, “All existing organisation structures of the party in Goa are dissolved. Aam Aadmi Party will be restructuring the party organisation in Goa.”
The AAP had contested all 40 assembly seats and had won 2 seats in the assembly elections, securing a vote share of 6.77 per cent.
AAP State Convener Rahul Mhambre had already resigned in April citing personal reasons.
Mhambre’s resignation came at a time he was appointed national executive member by the AAP. Many other AAP leaders from Goa were also given responsibility at the national level.
