Abandoned car towed away
CORTALIM: The traffic police on Saturday towed away a car which was found abandoned for several days at Sindolim in Sancoale.
According to Birla police outpost, the locals had complained that the Maruti Wagon R car (GA 02 J 5202), was abandoned by the roadside and there was no trace of the owner.
Informing that the vehicle was abandoned, a local, Mohan Naik, told The Goan that the villagers had complained to the police to tow away the vehicle, since it was causing hindrance to the smooth flow of traffic and moreover, there was no trace of the owner for many days.
On Saturday, the traffic police towed the vehicle away to the Cortalim police outpost.
