Agonda man booked for trespass, assault and threats

CANACONA

Canacona police have booked an Agonda resident on a complaint by a Delhi native for allegedly trespassing into a rented shop, causing damage, abusing workers and threatening to kill them.

According to Canacona police, complainant Kamal Kishor, a Delhi native currently residing in Canacona, alleged that between 1.30 pm on August 28 and 8.30 am on August 29, accused Ankush Pagi allegedly trespassed into his rented shop at Agonda and damaged 18 boxes of floor tiles, causing an estimated loss of Rs 15,000.

The complainant further alleged that Pagi abused and threatened to kill him and his labourers while they were carrying out flooring work at the shop.

He also alleged that Pagi assaulted him with slaps and fist blows. Canacona police booked Pagi under Sections 115(2), 351(3), 352, 324(2) and 329(3) of the BNS.

Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona Police Station.
