A couple of vehicles were damaged after the compound wall of the Electricity Department at the Power House, Aquem collapsed early Saturday morning.
A four-wheeler and a couple of two-wheelers, which were parked on the other side of the wall, were damaged in the incident.
The Electricity department also faced a huge loss as the wall admeasuring around 20 metres gave in.
Margao MLA Digambar Kamat, Chief Electrical Engineer Keni, Executive Engineer Alvito Fernandes, besides Margao Municipal ward councillor, Damu Shirodkar visited the site on Saturday morning.
A JCB was deployed to clear the debris from the place.
The loss on account of the incident has been pegged around Rs 2 lakh.
Executive Engineer, Alvito informed that the department engineer will prepare the estimates for the repairs and reconstruction of the portion of the damaged wall.
