Assonora local feted for winning national award

Graphic artist Swapnesh Vaigankar was felicitated by villagers from Jaidevwada-Assonora for winning a national award in graphic art instituted by Lalit Kala Academy at New Delhi.
He was felicitated by national rangoli artist Arjun alias Mama Parab from Bicholim at a function organised at Assonora in Bardez.
Parab appreciated the efforts of Vaigankar for winning the national award.
Replying to the felicitation, Vaigankar said he was determined to continue with the art with the same enthusiasm.
Raju Mandrekar, Dasharath Kambli and Ramesh Vaigankar were present on the occasion. Ananat Hoble compered the function, while Rohidas Vaigankar proposed the vote of thanks.
