The post-mortem of the woman Lalita Nagesh Siddhi (50) who was found dead in a rented room at Madel-Chorao has revealed that she had committed suicide.
The Old Goa police informed that the post-mortem has revealed that the woman died of asphyxia due to hanging, ruling out any foul play in her death.
It may be recalled that the body of Siddhi was found lying on the floor of the rented room on Sunday morning. The Old Goa police after conducting the panchanama had registered it as a case of unnatural death.
