Awards for Dhangar students
PANAJI: Merit-based award are being implemented for students of the Dhangar community to motivate them to enhance performance and to provide financial incentive. The scheme is implemented through the Directorate of Social Welfare.
Applications are invited from Dhangar students who have passed X and XII in March 2016 exam, Students securing marks in the range between 50 per cent to above 75 percent will be given various financial awards.
The annual family income of the students will not exceed Rs 2 lakhs and the first five rank holders of SSC and HSSC Board exams of all streams will be felicitated. The eligible applicant should submit the application by July 31, to the office of the Directorate of Social Welfare, Panaji.
