Chowgule College-Japan University ink MoU
PANAJI: Parvatibai Chowgule College signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. The college has the highest NAAC rating amongst all colleges affiliated to Goa University. Waseda University is one of the largest universities in Japan with over 54,000 students.
The MOU provides for collaborative research and exchange of students and faculty for academic, research and social and cultural purposes. The students will get an opportunity to study two semesters for a full academic year at the host institution. The credits earned during this study period will be fully transferable to the home institution. The MOU now signed also provides for continuation of this student-teacher exchange programme. Parvatibai Chowgule College is the first college in Goa to have the distinction of entering into a direct collaboration with an university overseas of international standing.
