The complainant who accused Santa Cruz MLA Babush Monserrate of raping her has been admitted to the Institute of Psychiatry and Human Behaviour on the advice of a doctor.

Sources have confirmed that the victim, who has been lodged at the Apna Ghar in Merces, ever since her mother disowned her, has been admitted in IPHB.The details of condition were not immediately knows. The victim had in a statement accused Monserrate of buying her, drugging her and sexually assaulting her.
