PANAJI: PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar was the chief guest at the all Goa major ranking badminton tournament organized by the Ponda Shuttlers at Indoor Stadium, Ponda. He also felicitated Goa’s 24 senior badminton veterans who have contributed for more than 25 years in the field of Badminton.
MLA Digambar Kamat, Lavoo Mamledar, MLA Ponda were the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion Dhavalikar congratulated the organisers, winners and the runners-up.
Kamat, Mamledar and Richard D’Souza, president GBA also spoke on the occasion.Also present were Abhay Prabhu, Narahar Thakur, Anil Painginkar, president of Ponda Shuttlers, Sandeep Khandeparkar, Sohan Kelekar and Santosh Prabhudesai.
Abhay Prabhu sponsored all the mementos in the memory of late Baibay Prabhu.
Sandeep Khandeparkar welcomed the guest and Sohan Kelekar treasurer proposed the vote of thanks.
