Ban on digging, cutting roads
PANAJI: The north District Magistrate has ordered that no person or agency or organization shall dig or cut the road or shoulders of the roads, any lane or access in any manner whatsoever without prior written permission of the District Magistrate within the jurisdiction of north Goa district.
DM has also ordered that the provisions of Section 144 of Cr PC 1973 promulgated came into force on June 4, and shall remain in force for a period of 60 days.
Any person or agency contravening this order will be punished under Section 188 of the IPC.
