Noted cardiac surgeon Dr MD Dixit will conduct a check-up organised by Arihant Hospital, Belagavi, at the Goa Scan Centre at Porvorim on Saturday, January 13, from 10 am to 1 pm.
Patients with cardiac problems, especially the young generation, have been advised to take advantage of this camp.
Patients with heart disease, chest pain, patients advised for bypass surgery, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease, heart disease in newborns and children, patients with hole in the heart, breathing problems, heart failure patients should take advantage of this camp.
He has also raised concern about the rising cardiac cases among the youth in Goa.
“Earlier, it was the son who used to bring the father to the hospital for heart ailment, however, it has become vice versa now,” Dr Dixit said.
Arihant Hospital has received National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) accreditation, becoming the first hospital in the region to achieve full accreditation by NABH.
