Bhajani artiste to be feted
VASCO: Veteran Mahila bhajani artiste from Vasco and the State Kala Gaurav awardee Shubhada Subhash Dhekne will be felicitated at Ravindra Bhavan Baina on the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi on July 15, at 6 pm.
South Goa MP Adv Narendra Savoikar will be the chief guest for the function.
Dhekne is an active member of Shree Ttirupati Balaji Mahila Bhajan Mandal from Headland Sada. She won the third place in the recently concluded Mahila Bhajan competition organized by Kala Academy Panaji, states a press note.
