The BJP has announced its first list of 18 candidates for upcoming ZP elections. The three candidates of BJP from Honda, Keri and Nagargao have filed their nominations on the first day.
There are around 12 new faces in the candidate list that has been announced by the BJP.

Meanwhile the Congress party has said that it will announce its list of candidates on Saturday.
Goa Congress Chief Girish Chodankar said that the party’s district committees will meet on Friday to shortlist the candidates.
The SEC began accepting nominations from Thursday and the last date for nominations is March 5. The elections will be held on March 22.
