The Fatorda unit of the BJP youth wing and the block committee descended on the Borda grounds to distribute free fruit saplings to the local residents on Sunday.
Around 100-150 fruit saplings were distributed to the residents of Borda at the hands of BJP Fatorda Mandal President Manohar Borkar and party Yuva Morcha President Amey Karmali.
Karmali told the media that the programme was arranged by the party Yuva Morcha as part of the series of events organized by the party youth wing in Fatorda. He thanked the Forest Department for arranging the fruit saplings.
Borkar said the party unit has been active in undertaking social activities in the constituency, adding that the distribution of the fruit saplings was part of the activity.
