Fisheries Minister, Nilkant Halarnkar said that the BJP-led government at the Centre and in the State has reached out to every segment of the society and can do even better to bring about all round development in the State and the country.

“Several innovative schemes launched by the Central government, particularly the Make in India have taken India to great heights. The BJP-led government can do much more than what we have achieved. For that awareness has to be created among the people and the youth,” Halarnkar said.

The Fisheries Minister was speaking at a bike rally at Cunchelim, Mapusa organised by the BJP youth to mark the completion of eight years of the central government led by PM Narendra Modi.

Mapusa MLA Joshua D’Souza, BJP Youth President, Samir Mandrekar and other BJP youth leaders were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the rally, Mapusa MLA, Joshua D’Souza said the youth who are the future of this country were always in the forefront in any of the activities conducted by the party.

“The youth have been instrumental in shaping the party activities. Our youth is always forward. I can confidently say Mapusa has one of the strongest youth organisations in the entire state of Goa,” D’Souza said.

He said the trend showed that youth were getting attracted to the party and the youth brigade was increasing in every assembly segment of the State.

He further said the youth of Goa will stand by PM Narendra Modi and the BJP and such rallies will be held in every taluka.

BJP youth President, Samir Mandrekar informed that the youth were assigned several programmes to showcase the achievement of the BJP government in the last eight years.

“Through rallies we will make aware of the various projects launched by the Central and the State governments. Our government has launched a lot of schemes for the youth also,” Mandrekar said.
