BNI Mathgram celebrates 15 yrs of business growth in South Goa

BNI Mathgram, celebrated 15 years of excellence in structured business networking, referral marketing, and entrepreneurial development. The milestone was announced during a press conference held in Margao, where the chapter also formally unveiled its upcoming flagship event — the “Power Connect” Networking Business Expo.

The press meet commenced with Dr Suyasha Raghuvanshi, President of BNI Mathgram, welcoming members of the press, dignitaries, and attendees. Introducing the leadership team, she highlighted the chapter’s journey, growth, and contribution to South Goa’s business ecosystem. She was joined by Rajkumar Kamat, Executive Director of BNI Goa, along with senior leaders Avinash Borkar, Founder Member and Senior Director, Parag Loliyekar, Area Director BNI Goa, and Arman Bankley, Business Growth Coordinator of BNI Mathgram.

Addressing the media, Rajkumar Kamat shared insights into the scale and impact of BNI in Goa.

Sharing the origin and evolution of BNI Mathgram, Avinash Borkar reflected on the chapter’s humble beginnings. Launched on February 24, 2011, BNI Mathgram became the first BNI chapter in South Goa and the second in the State. Starting with 26 members, the chapter steadily grew into a pioneer chapter, earning recognition at national levels and ranking among the top ten BNI chapters in India at one point. Over the years, Mathgram has hosted large-scale visitor days, consistently achieved Platinum status, organised multiple business expos for South Goa entrepreneurs, and generated nearly Rs 500 crore worth of business for its members through structured referrals.

Presenting key performance highlights, Parag Loliyekar noted that over the last 15 years, BNI Mathgram has generated 85,787 referrals, hosted more than 4,600 visitors, achieved an average referral value of Rs 56,000, and facilitated approximately Rs 485 crore in business for its members.

Speaking about the upcoming expo, Arman Bankley, Business Growth Coordinator of BNI Mathgram, described “Power Connect” as a unique networking business expo. He stated that the event will bring together over 100 ethical and trusted members of BNI Mathgram as vendors, offering products and services across diverse sectors including construction, interiors, corporate services, health and wellness, along with various professional business services.

Concluding the press conference, Dr Suyasha Raghuvanshi invited business owners, key decision-makers, homemakers, and the general public to attend the Power Connect Networking Business Expo on February 24, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Metropole Hall, Margao.
