According to sources at Dabolim airport, soon after receiving the information, the airport authority alerted Vasco Police, ATS, CISF and the dog squad.
“The Air India flight soon after landing was immediately shifted to isolation area for security check,” informed a source.
Speaking to The Goan, Airport Director K S Rao said they received a call from Calangute Police stating that they received information that a bomb was planted on the Delhi-Goa Air India flight.
“After getting the information, we immediately alerted the Vasco Police, ATS, CISF and the dog squad,” said Rao.

passengers was shifted to the isolation bay for security check. After thorough check by CISF, nothing was found. The flight was cancelled and will be kept at the isolation bay till Monday morning,” added Rao.
As far as the stranded passengers are concerned, Rao said they will be flown to Delhi by a special Air India flight.
DySP Sucheeta Dessai said the passengers were offloaded through the emergency exit. “After frisking the passengers and their baggage, they were taken to the airport terminal,” said Dessai.
