Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts hosted the launch of Dattaraj V ‘Raj’ Salgaocar’s book, ‘Development Dialogues: Journeys, Ideas and the Makers of Modern India’, on October 13. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant released the book, followed by a conversation between the author and Dr Pushkar, Director of the International Centre Goa (ICG). Congratulating Salgaocar, Sawant said the book goes beyond conventional success stories, highlighting the struggles, values and experiences that shaped 13 prominent Indians. He said their journeys could inspire young people. The book emerged from online dialogues hosted by ICG during the 2020 lockdown and features personalities from science, politics, business, academia and public policy.
