Book expo underway at Bicholim
BICHOLIM: The Diwali book exhibition organised by Bicholim Taluka Government Library was inaugurated by Seema Sinari, a teacher of Our Lady of Grace High School, Bicholim, on November 19.
In her address, Sinari encouraged readers to avail of benefits from books at the exhibition.
The programme was also attended by librarian Laxmi Puranik, Pragati Pednekar, Teja Parab, Sushma Mainkar, Pratisha Dhamshekar, Smita Patil, Ramesh Dicholkar, Ismail Beg, Arun Umarye and others.
According to librarian, Laxmi Puranik, around 130 different books are on display at the exhibition.
Earlier, Puranik welcome the gathering and also proposed the vote of thanks.
