Book on Swachh Bharat presented
PANAJI: The Governor Dr Mridula Sinha and co-editor Dr Ram Kripal Sinha presented the first copies of their recently published book 'Swachh Bharat' to the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, at Rashtrapati Bhawan, on February 8.
The book is published by Prabhat Prakashan, New Delhi and comprises of write-ups from experts in the fields of waste management, fundamental facility providers, awareness generation experts and other writers and social workers, who have come together to propagate the ambitious Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The book is an endeavour for generating awareness and achieving the holistic goals of the silent revolution related to the sanitation and cleanliness in lndia.
'Swachhata Sanskar' in Hindi authored by Sinha was also presented to the President This book is also published by Prabhat Prakashan.
