Burglars steal 7 laptops from Vasco office

VASCO

Vasco police have registered a theft case after unidentified persons allegedly broke into the office of Cetas Shipping & Logistics India Pvt. Ltd. in Vasco and stole seven laptops worth about Rs 1 lakh.

According to a complaint filed by Riyaz Shaikh of Cortalim, the burglary took place between 1.15 am and 8.30 am on 

July 15.

The accused allegedly entered the office without permission with the intention of committing theft and fled after stealing seven company-owned 

laptops.

Based on the complaint, Vasco police registered an offence against unknown persons under Sections 331(3), 331(4) and 305 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The investigation is being carried out by PSI Suresh Velip of Vasco Police Station under the supervision of PI Vaibhav Naik and the guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
