Calangute Police yet to file FIRs

The boisterous gathering on Tuesday indulged in stone pelting damaging property belonging to the Calangute village panchayat but till late in the night no FIRs were filed.

The glass pane of the panchayat office and the car belonging to the panchayat secretary was damaged by some miscreants.

Calangute Police informed that they have received complaints from the panchayat about damage to the office and two cars.

“So far, we have not registered any complaints. We will check the CCTV footage and after proper investigation necessary action will be taken,” a police official informed.
