Members expressed their unhappiness over the reply given by department that around 90% of the underground power cabling work passing through the Camurlim stretch is complete.
Gram sabha member Romao Jesus pointed out that the electricity department had been only handing out assurances to the panchayat body over the completion of the project in the last several years.
He said the panchayat should immediately write to CM, who also holds the Vigilance, to investigate into the undue delay in the completion of the project.
The gram sabha also approved the annual budget for the financial year 2017-18.
