In a dramatic incident, a moving car caught fire at Kone-Priol on Saturday afternoon. Fortunately, both the driver and a female passenger escaped unharmed, though the vehicle suffered extensive damage.
According to reports, the incident unfolded when the driver noticed smoke emanating from the running car and promptly pulled over. The passenger, who was seated beside the driver, quickly exited the vehicle, averting any injuries as the fire intensified.
Upon receiving an alert, the Ponda fire brigade swiftly dispatched units to the scene where they successfully doused the flames engulfing the car. Despite their efforts, the vehicle sustained significant damage during the fire.
