Cardio camp held at Ponda
PONDA: Generation Next in association with Manipal Hospitals organised a free heart check-up camp at Kids Nest, Ponda on Sunday.
More than 75 patients attended the camp which was inaugurated by Dr Ketan Bhatikar, general secretary of Indian Association of Physiotherapist.
Dr Bhatikar stressed on the need to change the current lifestyle which causes problems like heart attacks. Dr Bhatikar further said citizens should concentrate on proper food habits and lifestyle on daily basis.
Ponda taluka president Subhash Sirsat welcomed while State president Durgadas Kamat stressed on the need to have such medical camps. Kamat also informed that camps would be held in Vasco, Canacona and other parts of Goa.
