State BJP President Sadanand Tanavade has refuted media reports suggesting that the recent visit of two central party emissaries was related to discussions about a cabinet reshuffle.
Instead, Tanavade emphasised that the central leaders were in the state solely to oversee the ongoing membership drive.
“The two central leaders, Vinod Tawde, who is the all-India membership in-charge and Ashish Sood, our new prabhari, came to review the primary membership process. The media’s claims that their visit was about a cabinet reshuffle are completely unfounded,” Tanavade asserted.
He further revealed that another central leader is expected to visit the State in the next two to three days to continue the review of the membership drive. Given the busy schedules of the central leaders, Tanavade hinted that the much-anticipated cabinet reshuffle might only take place after the Ganesha festival.
The remarks come amid widespread speculation about potential changes in the state cabinet, but Tanavade’s comments suggest that any such reshuffle will be delayed until the festive season concludes.
