Chain snatching incident in Margao

MARGAO: Unidentified culprits snatched a mangalsutra and gold chain from around the neck of a woman at Gogol.

According to Margao town police, the incident occurred at around 7 pm near Mutt-Gogol when two unidentified persons snatched the mangalsutra and a gold chain, together worth around Rs 64,000 from the neck of the 29-year-old victim woman.

Margao police have registered an offence under Sections 379 and 356 r/w 34 of IPC.
