Two hurt in Mugali accident
MARGAO: A male scooterist was grievously injured while a woman escaped with simple injuries in a collision between two scooters at Mugali.
According to Maina-Curtorim police, the accident occurred at Mugali when an Eterno scooter driven by a 40-year-old male who was proceeding from Davorlim towards Nessai collided with an oncoming Dio scooter driven by a 23-year-old woman. While the male rider suffered head injuries, the woman escaped with simple injuries.
Upon getting information, the Maina-Curtorim police registered an offence under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC.
Further investigations are in progress.
